Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) was constituted on 8th march 1996. KREDL is registered under companies act. The prime aim of electric energy generation is to satisfy customer demands economically with stress on safety, reliability and quality. The KREDL Company advises the Government of Karnataka on policies to be assumed for ensuring a systematic and balanced development of projects for harnessing renewable energy sources. KREDL objective is to promote projects for harnessing energy from small-hydro, biomass, solar energy wind, and energy recovery from wastes by private investment. KREDL is calling for applications from private sector developers for development of proven potential, advising the Government on policy to find speedy development of projects in the sector.
