Yadavpur University gives admission to engineering courses on the basic of WBJEE score, here are WBJEE details:

Reservations
SC 22%
ST 6%
Sports 2%
Physically Handicapped 1%,

Domicile West Bengal residents
Candidates should have been residing in the State continuously for 10 years or whose parents are permanent residents of West Bengal.

Age
Maximum 21 yrs (24 yrs for SC/ST candidates).
There is no age limit for admission to Jadavpur University.

Academic Qualification
The applicant should have pass 12 yrs Hr Sec exam in General/Vocational stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent with Eng, Phy, Chem, Maths and Vernacular/5th subject. Candidates should be physically fit, as per prescribed standard.

Selection procedure
Selection is made on merit in the JEE conducted in Maths (200 marks) Phy, Chem (100 marks each).
The questions are of 12th standard and in English language with Bengali translation.
