The Innovator’s MBA is a Flex Track course offered by School of Business of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) which combines Web-based learning with on-campus classes, three Saturdays per semester, for 3.5 hours per class.

Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission, one must have successfully completed the following:

• A degree program at an accredited U.S. 4 year undergraduate college/university or its equivalent;

• The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within the last 5 years. The minimum GMAT score requirement is 500;

• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam taken within the last 2 years is required of international applicants who attended non-English speaking undergraduate universities.

• The minimum TOEFL score requirement is 84 and the minimum IELTS score requirement is 7. The TOEFL minimum for writing is 20, listening is 22, reading is 20, and speaking is 22.

• Work experience requirements vary by program.

• A complete online application.

MBA Curriculum

The MBA curriculum consists of 10 integrative courses that ensure students have a solid foundation in the major functional areas of business and the tools necessary to successfully recognize and develop business opportunities, analyze business performance, and lead.

Elective Courses (4 Courses)
Students are required to take 12 credits of elective work.
Elective specialization areas include Entrepreneurship, Health Systems Innovation, Information Security Management, Information Technology, Operations Management, Process Design, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, Technological Innovation, and Marketing Innovation.
