National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a fashion institute in India. In 1986, National Institute of Fashion Technology New Delhi was set up by the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, in technical collaboration with FIT, New York.

NIFT alumni include Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Ritu Beri, Shivaji Dutta, Sujit Meher, Manish Arora, Nikita Anand, Gulshan Devaiah, Shantanu Goenka, Prabal Gurung, and Tanya Gyani.

It offers a variety of Regular as well as CE programs. It has the older and richest Resource Centre having rich collections of print and non-print materials.

NIFT was granted statutory status in 2006, empowering it to award degrees and other academic distinctions.
