Tell me in which government exam I can participate while pursuing final year of Mechanical Engg degree course???

As you are in final year and if you want to do govt jobs then you should write GATE exam.
Because given below companies recruiting engineer trainee through gate score only. SO prepare for gate exam properly.

INDIAN OIL
NTPC
DRDO
ISRO
BARC

You may write for following UPSC exams:
1)Civil Service Exam
2)Engineering Service Exam
3)Combined Defense Service Exam

You can apply for the bank jobs.
You can apply for positions such as Clerk, PO etc.

You can also apply for other course like:-
M.B.A
M.Tech

You have to qualify the entrance exam like:-
C.A.T
M.AT
X.A.T
G.M.A.T
