The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together.

Recruitment s to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September.

Age limit:

For NDA 1 2016:

The candidates must be Born after 2nd July 1997 but not later than 1st July 2000 are eligible for NDA 1 2016.

For NDA 2 2016:

The candidates not born before 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st July 2001 are eligible.

Education Qualification:

The candidates who are have passed class 12 or appearing with physics, chemistry and mathematics as a subject can apply for this. However minimum marks in this case is 60 %

Exam Pattern:

Both the NDA 1 and NDA 2 exam consist of two papers. First one is mathematics and the second one is general ability test.

Mathematics: This paper consist multiple choice question of mathematics based on the syllabus of class 11 and 12.The time limit of this paper is 2.5 hours.

General Ability: In this part there are two sections. First section is of English with 200 marks and the second section consists of general knowledge with 400 marks
