The company hires Junior Telecom Officers (JTO) in the disciplines of Electronics, Telecom, Electrical, Computer Science, Radio, Information Technology, Instrumentation Engineering on the basis of their performance in GATE 2018.

BSNL JTO Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have completed BE/BTech or its equivalent in Electronics/Telecom/Computer/Radio/Electrical/Information Technology/Instrumentation Engineering or M.Sc in Electronics or Computer Science.

Candidates, who have qualified GATE with EC/CS/IN/EE, are permitted to apply.

Age Criteria-

The lower and upper age limit of a candidate should be 18 years and 30 years respectively

Relaxation in the upper age will be provided in the following way:

SC/ST- Upto 5 Years;
OBC- Upto 3 years;
OBC-PWD: upto 13 years;
SC/ST-PWD: upto 15 years;
OC-PWD: upto 10 years;
Ex-servicemen: According to the Central Govt. norms;
Employees of BSNL: upto 5 years;

Selection Procedure

The selection of candidates will be purely based on their performance in GATE exam.

The final merit will be prepared by the authority based on candidates performance in GATE exam.

There will be no Interview conducted for the recruitment of candidates.
