The GRE Subject Tests are achievement tests that measure your knowledge of a particular field of study.

Subject of GRE

There are 8 disciplines in which you can master:

Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology

Biology

Chemistry

Computer Science

Literature in English

Mathematics

Physics

Psychology

If you are specialised in one of the above subjects, it is an added benefit that you take up the specific Subject test.

The score you get will supplement the general test score, undergraduate score and the others.

The Subject test is a paper based test that takes place three times a year worldwide.

It is usually conducted in October, November and April.

You must know that not all test centres are open on all the test dates.
