Re: What State Agency Manages GPAT

Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) program.

Eligibility Criteria
-Applicant must be a citizen of India.
-They must be Bachelor’s degree holders in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry candidates)
-Those who are in the final year of B. Pharmacy course are also eligible for appearing in GPAT exam.

Application fee
General / OBC Rs 1400 + Bank charges
Female / SC / ST / PWD Rs 700 + Bank charges

Exam Pattern
The GPAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session
-Total Number of questions in the exam is 125.
-You can move back and forth between the questions in the online GPAT exam.
-Total duration of exam is 3 hours (180 minutes).
-For correct answers, you will get +4 marks in each question.
-Negative marking is there in GPAT. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.
-You will get rough sheets to do calculations.
