Re: What is Meant by Percentile in PGECET

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is a State Level Common Entrance Test . This test conducted for admission into regular PG Courses in Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy etc.. courses.

Result of the exam is given in percentile form . Seats in a particular course be filled on the basis of percentile score secured by candidate in the AP PGECET entrance test.

PGECET Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.

Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Candidate should obtain at least 50% marks (45% in case candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination .

Exam Pattern

Exam paper consists of 120 multiple choice questions.

Total duration of the exam : 2 hours.

Exam will be conducted in 2 shifts:
Forenoon
Afternoon.

Timing of forenoon:
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Afternoon timing : 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For each right answer, one mark will be awarded .
Cutoff mark in the test will be 25%.

The language of the question paper of the entrance exam of AP PGECET will be English only.
