Eligibility for APPSC Group I Exam

APPSC is Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission’s

Group – I exam eligibility conditions are given under:

Nationality: A Candidate must be an Indian.

Age:

For all the Posts in Group – 1

Notification, Candidate’s age limit is given under.



The Candidate’s Upper age limit relaxations details:

• 5 years age recreation for SC/ST and BCs Candidate’s.

• 10 years age recreation for PH Candidates. (Physically Handicapped)

• 3 years age recreation for Ex-Service men.

• 3 years age recreation for N.C.C (who have worked as Instructor in N.C.C) – 3 Years & length of service rendered in the N.C.C.

• 5 years age recreation for A.P. State Government Employees– 5 Years maximum based on the length of regular service.

• 3 years age recreation for Retrenched provisional employees in the State poll Department with a minimum service of 6 months.


Educational qualification: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University or board.

Physical standards: Applicants must be physically and medically fit according to the physical standards of the APPSC test.
