West Bengal State University is a newly established public university situated in Barasat, North 24 Paraganas, near the city of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

It was founded in 2008

Process for Registration is given below:

1. Subject wise and as per vacancy in each college, Applicants are to apply with relevant fees (Cheque/Draft).

2. On receiving the valid Registration form from the college, college will crosscheck the data and verify the check list sent by the University, and will be resubmitted under the signature of Principal/Teacher-in-charge.

3. All valid candidates with Registration Form as per the check list received from colleges. Registration Number will be issued and Registration Certificates will be sent college wise.

4. Usually the Registration submission from colleges end by Mid-October and Mid-November (with fine), if not otherwise notified.
