The West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) conducts the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) as an entrance exam for admission into its Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Human Administration (MHA) AICTE approved PG diploma Programmes that’s offered by the management private and government Institutions of the State.

Important Dates JEMAT 2017

Events of the Test Tentative Dates
Commencement of online application June 2017
Deadline of Online Application June 2017
Last Date for receiving of Hard Copy of the application form June 2017
Admit card will be issued June 2017
Examination date July 2017
Result will be declared August 2017
Date of GD/PI August 2017
Counseling process will be commenced from September 2017

JEMAT 2017 Exam pattern

It is offline JEMAT 2017 Exam.
It is objective type examination with multiple choices and one correct answer.

120 minutes will be allotted to finish the JEMAT 2017 Exam.

The exam will be divided in three sections namely:
General English
Logical reasoning
Mathematics

There are 120 questions in total.

Each question fetches one mark.

25 marks will be deducted as the penalty for incorrect answers.

Distribution of questions per section is:

Section No. of questions Marks
General English 40 40
Mathematics 40 40
Logical reasoning 40 40
Total 120 questions 120 marks

Selection Procedure

The applicants will be selected for GD (General Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) on the basis of their performance and marks obtained in the written test.

The final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of below listed weightage:

Written Examination- 80%
Personal Interview- 10%
General Discussion- 10%
