Hello, I am looking for the details regarding the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) TET exam. SO can you please provide me the details regarding this so that it may be helpful for me??

You are looking for the details regarding the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) TET exam. SO I am providing it to you:

Important Dates:

Candidates who applied for TET, 2015: 12.06.2015 to 30.06.2015

Fresh Candidates: 18.06.2015 to 30.06.2015

(Fees Payments through e-Challan (EASY PAY/ Power Ecoll-NEFT) (Applicable only for fresh candidates):- 19.06.2015 to 03.07.2015

WBTET 2015 (Upper Primary Level) Date:- 30.08.2015.

Paper Pattern:

No. of MCQs -150.

Duration of Examination : 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Nature of marking:- 1 MCQ question carry 1 mark.

There will be no negative marking.

Paper Name Full Marks Question Type
i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) 30 30 MCQs
ii) Language I (compulsory) 30 30 MCQs
iii) Language II (compulsory) 30 30 MCQs
(a) For Mathematics and Science Teacher: Mathematics and Science –60 MCQs of 1 mark each

(b) For Social Studies Teacher : Social Studies – 60 MCQs of 1 mark each

(c) For Any Other Teacher –either (a) or (b) 60 60 MCQs


WBTET Preparation

Candidates are advised to go through the past question papers and reference books for cracking the exam. You need to develop your problem solving skills and get thorough with the basic concepts. Get the proper knowledge of cracking this exam from the one who has already cleared the exam. He will be the best mentor for you. Be cool and calm and avoid much stress.

Application Fee:-

Application fees for General and OBC- A/OBC-B candidates:- Rs. 250 /-

Application fees for reserved (SC/ST/ PH-VH/PH-HI/PH-OH) categories:- Rs.80 /-
