Can you tell me the last date to fill up and submit the Application Form for WBJEE or West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2016? Also provide me the paper pattern for WBJEE as well?

WBJEE or West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam is a state level exam for admission in different undergraduate engineering prgrammes such as BE/ B.Tech. It is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for the admission in different affiliated colleges in West Bengal.

WBJEE Engineering Eligibility Criteria
• One must be a citizen of India or the parents of the candidate must be permanent residents of West Bengal.
• One appearing for B.E/ B.Tech should score at least 45%marks of aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects together (40% for SC/ST candidates) and also must pass individual in every subject with minimum 30% marks in English.
• One must score a minimum of 60%marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) subjects together and with minimum 50% marks in English either in 10th or 12th to be eligible.
• One must pass HSC or (10+2) or its equivalent exam from a recognized University/ Board.
• One who wants to appear for the exam should be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December of that year and there is no upper age limit.
• For marine engineering one should not be less than 17 years and upper age should not be more than 25 years to be eligible.

WBJEE Engineering Exam Pattern

The exam consists of 280 multiple choice objective type questions of 350 marks.
For each correct answer candidate will get 1 or 2 marks depending on the type of question and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
