All India Pre Medical/ Pre Dental Test Conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for Admission in Under graduate Medical Course .

You need to follow a step by step preparation for AIPMT exam. The first step is to join a good coaching centre to become consistent in studies. Besides classes used to study for 6 to 7 additional hours to cover entire topics and to revise the syllabus you covered in Coaching Classes.

I would like to suggest them not to take stress about the AIPMT exam. The real success mantra is to study NCERT Books rather studying those weight expensive materials.

You need to understand your strengths and weaknesses for any test preparation .

NCERT is the best way to clear your basics and concepts in all the three subjects-Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Once your basics are clear, scoring in AIPMT is easier for anyone.

NCERT Books are very helpful, especially Biology and Chemistry. Around 95% Biology section will come from NCERT Book. And for Physics, it would be really helpful, if you focus on strengthing the concepts.


Qualification:

Candidates must have passed in Physics, chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects in their 10+2 Qualifying Exam with 50% marks Conducted by CBSE or any other Board constituted by the Law in India.

This minimum percentage is relaxed to 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories; furthermore for GEN-PH category (people with locomotive disability in lower limbs) the minimum percentage is reduced to 45% and to 40% for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH


Age limit: Candidates must have 17 years (5 years relaxation for category candidates).


Exam Pattern:

AIPMT exam have Single paper of 3 hours duration.

There will be 45 questions each in the four sections as

Physics,
Chemistry,
Botany and Zoology.

4 Marks for correct answer and negative marking of 1 mark for incorrect answers.
