HARYANA PMT is a state level examination conducted by the Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak Haryana.
This exam is conducting for admissions to undergraduate health sciences courses MBBS/BDS in various private and government dental and medical colleges across Haryana.

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant candidate must pass in the 12th (HSC) class examination with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, in case the candidate belongs to a reserved category this percentage would be 40%.

Selection Process:
the Selection Procedure will be based upon AIPMT Exam only and Haryana Government shall be utilizing AIPMT score card for the counseling procedure.

Last date for submission of filled in application forms for Nursing Diplomas: 3rd week of June 2015

To prepare for Haryana Pre Medical Test (PMT), the candidates have to study the syllabus of 10+2 level exam consists of subjects like:

Physics,
Chemistry,
Botany and Zoology

Physics
Oscillations & Waves, Communication System, Behaviour of Perfect gas & Kinetic theory, Electronics Devices, Physical World and Measurement, Electrostatics, Kinematics, Magnetic Effects of Currents and Magnetisim, Laws of Motion, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Work, Energy and Power, Electromagnetic Waves, Gravitation, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation’s, Properties of Bulk Matter, etc.

Chemistry
States of Matter : Gases and Liquids, Some basic Concepts, The Solid State, General Principles & process of Isolation of Element, Chemistry in Everyday Life, P-Block Element, Chemical Kinetics, Bimolecular, Polymers, Haloalkanes and haloarenes, Alcohols Phenols and Ethers, Aldeydes, Ketones and Carboxylic Acids, Organic Compounds containing nitrogen, Electro Chemistry, Solutions, Organic Chemistry- some basic principles and Techniques.

Biology (Botany & Zoology)
Biology and Human Welfare, Ecology and Environment, Reproduction in Organism, Genetics & Evolution, Diversity in Living World, Structural Organisation in Plants and Animals, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology, Basic Chemical Constituents of Living Being, Human Physiology.

Haryana Pre Medical Test(PMT) is an entrance test for admission to bachelor medical and dental courses MBBS/BDS/BAMS in the medical and dental institutes of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Haryana PMT is conducted by Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak for admission in all the affiliated private and Government medical and dental colleges

Haryana PMT Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

Candidates aspiring to appear in this Pre Medical Exam should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC).

Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in the respective year can also apply.

For BAMS a candidate should have also passed in Sanskrit as a core elective subject.

Age Limits

Aspiring candidates must have attained the age of 17 years but not more than 25 years as on 31st December of the year of application.

Other Eligibility Conditions

The Pre Medical Entrance Exam can only be given by the candidates having Haryana domicile.

Indian Citizen of any of the following categories is eligible to appear in the MBBS/BDS as Haryana Domicile.

The candidates who are bonafide residents of Haryana

The children/wards/dependents of the employees of Indian Defence Services/para-Military Forces belonging to Haryana State at the time of entry into service as per their service record

The children/wards /dependents of Ex-employees of Indian Defence Services/para-Military Forces belonging to Haryana State at the time of entry into service as per their service record who retired from service on or after first April of the preceding year of admission.

The children/wards/dependents of Ex-employees of Indian Defence Services/para-Military Forces belonging to Haryana State at the time of entry into service as per their service record provided the candidate has studied 10+2 class as a regular candidate in a recognized institution in Haryana.
