VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University) is a collegiate public state university in Karnataka State, India. It was founded on 1 April 1998 by the Government of Karnataka as per VTU Act 1994.

Ph.D. in VTU (Visvesvaraya Technological University):

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed M.Phil or M.Sc degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or any other such allied discipline are eligible to apply.

Candidates must have Minimum CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 or aggregate of 60 percent marks at the bachelor’s degree or master’s degree level.

Paper Pattern of Entrance Exam:
•The question paper is of 100 marks.

•Objective type in nature with multiple choice questions.

•Sections of paper with marks:
a) General Aptitude (20 marks)
b) Quantitative aptitude (30 marks)
c) Subject aptitude (50 marks)

Application form:
Application form for Ph.D. admission to VTU is available through recognized research center or any VTU affiliated college/R &D laboratory/VTU research center.
