The Training and Placement Department of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is providing facility to students with a platform for using their technical acumen to gain valuable experience by working in the mainstream industry.

It also acts as an interface for Companies seeking talented young graduates and post-graduates in various disciplines.

VNIT-Nagpur invites various public and private sector organizations for campus recruitment of final year students.

More than 100 companies visited the campus. These included all the major companies like Morgan Stanley, L & T Group, Bajaj Auto, Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai Mobis, John Deere, AVAYA India, Godrej Industries, Vedanta Ltd; Hindalco, Ashok Leyland, Amazon, Citicorp Finance India Ltd., JP Morgan, ABB, and many more.

All these companies offered 651 jobs[on campus jobs 476 UG &100 PG and off campus jobs 14 UG &61 PG.
