I am planning to do my engineering degree from VIT University and for this I know I have to appear in VITEEE Exam. Will you please provide me all the news related to VITEEE Exam also provide me important dates and contact details for this Exam?

VIT University will conduct VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2016 for granting admissions to various undergraduate engineering program.

Admissions to its two campuses, Chennai and Vellore, will be purely on the basis of the marks secured in the VITEEE 2016

Important dates of VITEEE:

Official notification/information brochure will be released in
Mid November 2015

Application form will be available from
27 November 2015, onwards

Application procedure will end in
29 February 2016

VITEEE 2016 slot booking will start in
Mid March 2016

Admit card will be available from
Mid March 2016

VITEEE 2016 will be held in
6 to 17 April 2016

The result will be released till
29 April 2016

Counselling will commence from
Second week of May 2016

Exam pattern:

You will be allotted 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes to attempt the question paper.
Now, there shall be 4 sections, of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology.
Each section, except the English language, will bear 40 questions of 40 marks each.
1 mark shall be given for every correct answer and no marks will be deducted for negative marking
