Currently there is no any notification is announced by TNPSC for VAO. But here I’m giving you basic details for Village Administrative Officer TNPSC:

Village Administrative Officer:

Age Limit:
Candidate’s age should be between 21 years to 40 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per govt norms for SC, ST, MBC and BC category candidates.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have an completed General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.

Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be get paid Rs.5,200 – 20,200/- + 2,400-G.P (PB1) per month salary.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected based on their performance from the written exam and personal interview basis.

Written exam:
Single Paper in the following subjects in SSLC standard

General studies (75items)
Basics of Village Administration (25 items)
Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (20 items)
General Tamil / General English (80 items)
Total 200 questions for 300 marks and Minimum Qualifying Marks for selection is 90 marks only
