The minute to minute programme and order of call out list for the Eighteenth Convocation 2016 of Vidyasagar University is as follows:

10.15 AM The Vice-Chancellor, the former Vice-Chancellors, members of the Court assemble for robing.

10.55 AM The Hon'ble Chancellor and the Chief Guest arrive and are received by the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar and the members of the Court.

10.56 AM The Hon'ble Chancellor hoists the University Flag.

10.58 AM Robing of the Hon'ble Chancellor and the Chief Guest.

11.00 AM The Vice-Chancellor introduces the members of the Academic Procession to the Hon'ble Chancellor.

11.03 AM The Academic Procession enters the auditorium. (Everyone should rise and keep standing until the members of the Procession are seated.)

11.07 AM National Anthem.

11.09 AM Registrar (Offering of flowers) : I am privileged to announce that the flowers be offered to Hon'ble Chancellor and other distinguished Guests by the students of Vidyasagar University.
Registrar : The Vice-Chancellor will now present the
Memento to the Hon'ble Chancellor.
Vice-Chancellor : The Registrar will now present the
Memento to the Hon'ble Chief Guest.

11.10 AM The Hon'ble Chancellor declares the Convocation open :
Chancellor : " I declare the Convocation open."

11.12 AM Address by the Vice-Chancellor.

11.22 AM Address by the Hon'ble Chancellor.

11.32 AM Vice-Chancellor introduces the Chief Guest in appropriate words befitting the occasion and requests him to deliver the Convocation Address.
