Maharana Pratap university of Agriculture and Technology is a type of public
institute.

It was established in the year 1999.

It is located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India.

The honourable vice chancellor of the university is “Dr. Parmendra Kumar
Dashora”.

He was born on 15th September, 1954.

He started his career from Indian Bureau of Mines and retired as professor in
Agricultural Statistics after 34 years of distinguished service as teacher in the
MPUAT.

He is a role model for many students.

He has been an excellent researcher.

He has more than 80 research papers and more than 100 abstracts in
international and national journals and conferences, and others.

He has been consultant to about 400 PhD and 700 Masters Students across
all faculties and made valuable contributions to their research work.

He is fellow and life member of several professional societies. He has received
many prestigious international and national awards.

Being so closely involved with research on enormous variety of subjects in
the University, he has a deep understanding of all aspects of Agricultural
Education and Research.

He is an enthusiastic reader and has deep interests in literature, history and
philosophy.

He has amazing command on a host of subjects and is an excellent motivator
and orator.

Currently, he is Vice Chancellor of Kota University, Kota also.
