National Committee of Science & Technology, State Council Of Science & Technology,U.P. was established on 1 of May, 1975 by Govt. of U.P. as an autonomous body registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 by restructuring U.P. State Council of Scientific & Industrial Research; the origin of which lies in Scientific Research Committee constituted under University Grant Commission in the year 1947.
