Hello friend here I am telling about DSE admission requirement of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Minimum entrance requirements

English Chinese Mathematics Liberal Studies X1 X2/ M1/ M2*
Level 4 Level 3 Level 3 Level 2 Level 3 Level 3

Admission score calculation:
Double weighting

English
Mathematics (compulsory part)

Bonus points

For both B&M (5003) and GBUS (5013) applicants, bonus points will be awarded to the next best subject among the following:

Core or elective subjects; or
Other languages; or
Applied Learning subjects (“Attained with Distinction” will be counted as Level 3)

Extra Bonus points

Final Band A applicants for B&M (5003) will receive extra bonus points from the higher score obtained from:

Impressive OEA / 500-word personal statement (named "additional information" on the JUPAS form); or
Interview (if invited to attend)

For GBUS (5013), interview is a must and the interview score will be factored into the calculation of the final admission score.
