The University of San Diego is a private Roman Catholic university in San Diego, California.

Two MBA Tracks:

General Management Track
International Business Track

Full-Time MBA: International Business Track
Core curriculum = 38 credits
Elective Coursework = 18 credits

I. Responsible Leadership Development

GSBA 506 - Operations and the Global Supply Chain
GSBA 510 - Financial Accounting and Statement Analysis
GSBA 516 - Marketing for International Managers
GSBA 518 - International Economy and Business
GSBA 523 - International Financial Management
GSBA 532 - International Comparative Management

III. Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, and Ethics
GSBA 517 - Sustainable Business Model Design
GSBA 508 - Legal and Social Environment of Global Business
Elective in CSR/Sustainability/Ethics area AND Two business related community service activities

IV. Integrative Problem Solving
GSBA 500 - Strategic Thinking and Communication
GSBA 503 - Problem Formulation and Decision Analysis
GSBA 590 - Strategic Execution
GSBA 593 - International Practicum
GSBA 593 must be taken twice and in two different geographic regions. Students may substitute the second international practicum requirement with a short-term study abroad course, semester abroad, or an international internship.

V. Program Electives

There are a wide variety of elective courses. Students may select a concentration by focusing electives in a particular area of expertise. Two elective units must be taken in the corporate social responsibility area.

Students may take up to 6 elective units from the School of Law or other relevant USD graduate program.

Some electives and core courses may be taken in the study abroad programs sponsored by the John Ahlers Center for International Business. These courses may also be taken at one of our partner universities for a semester study abroad experience.

VI. Additional Requirements:
Statistics for Managers – online certification course with instructor guidance. Second Language competency - Students are required to demonstrate "Mid-Intermediate" or higher on the ACTFL Scale oral competence in a language other than English.
