Urbanization IELTS

I am planning to pursue higher studies from abroad and for this decided to give the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) heard about the term Urbanization. Will you provide basic details about the Urbanization IELTS and Reasons for Urbanization?

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the world’s most popular English language test. More than 2.5 million IELTS tests are taken each year.

IELTS is the high-stakes English test for study, migration or work.

Reasons for Urbanization for IELTS

People move to cities in search of job opportunities
Cities offer greater employment possibilities and a higher standard of living
People migrate to cities from the countryside
Traditional activities like farming need fewer workers nowadays

Negatives of City Life

Life in cities has its drawbacks
The cost of living is higher than in rural areas
Some people d not manage to find work
Housing is usually much more expensive
Homelessness and poverty are common on cities
There is a gap between rich and poor
Life in cities can be extremely stressful
There are problems like traffic congestion and crime
Cities lack a sense of community
People do not even know their neighbor
Cities are sometimes described as “concrete jungles”.

IELTS test fees

The registration fee for IELTS test administered till 31 March 2017 is INR 11,300

and the registration fee for IELTS test administered after 01 April 2017 is INR 11,800
