Hello, here I am providing you the details of the various exams held by the UPSC as under:

Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (In May)
Age - limits:
21-30 years

Educational Qualification
Degree of a Recognised University or equivalent.
Candidates appearing in the requisite Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination; however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination.

Civil Services (Main) Examination (In Oct/Nov)
Age - limits:
21-30 years

Educational Qualification
Degree of a Recognised University or equivalent.
Candidates appearing in the requisite Degree qualification are also eligible for appearing in the examination; however, they are supposed to submit proof of passing the requisite qualification along with Detailed Application Form for Civil Services (Main) Examination.

Indian Forest Service Examination (In July)
Age-limits
21-30 Years

Educational Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent.

Engineering Services Examination (In June)
Age-limits
21-30 Years

Categories of which recruitment is made through the Examination
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering

Geologist Examination (in December)
Age - limits:
21-32 years

Educational Qualification
Master's degree in Geology/Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a recognized university; or
Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad; or
Master's degree in Mineral exploration from a recognized university (for posts in GSI); or
Master's degree in Hydrogeology from a recgonized university (for posts in CGWB)

Special Class Railway Apprentices Examination (In July)
Age - limits:
17-21 years

Educational Qualification
Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent examination of a university or board

National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (In April & September)
Age-limits
16-1/2 - 19 Years

Educational Qualifications
For Army Wing of NDA
12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education, or equivalent.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at Naval Academy
12 th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent

Combined Defence Services Examination (In February & August)
Age-limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy
19-22 Years Naval Academy
19-23 Years Air Force Academy
19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy

Educational Qualifications:
IMA & OTA
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent

Naval Academy
B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

Air Force Academy
B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

Combined Medical Services Examination (In January)
Age - limits:
Below 32 years

Educational Qualification
A pass in the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination (In November)
Age - limits:
21-30 years

Educational Qualification
For Indian Economic Service
Post Graduate Degree from a recognised university in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.

For Indian Statistical Service
Post Grade Degree from an Indian university in Statistics/Applied Statistics/Mathematical Statistics.

Section Officers/Stenographers (Grade-B/Grade-I) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (In December)
Age - limits:
21-30 years

The examination is confined to serving Central Government Employees working as Assistant in the Assistant Grade of the Central Secretariat Service. Railway Board Sectt. Service, Intelligence Bureau, Armed Forces headquarters Civil Services; or Stenographer Grade-C of the Central Secretariat Stenographers' Service/Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers' Service/Armed Forces headquarters Stenographers' Service/Grade II of the I.B.

Central Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination (In October)
Age - limits:
20-25 years

Educational Qualification
Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
