To recruits candidates for appointment as Special Class Railway Apprentices in Mechanical Department of Indian Railways, UPSC conducts examination.

The examination includes written test in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, General Knowledge, and Psychological Test (Mental Ability).

Eligibility:
A candidate must be a citizen of India.
A candidate must have attained the age of 17 years and must not have attained the age of 21 years.

Result procedure:

1st log on to official website of UPSC which seems like:

Now you will get some tab at the top of this page, and choose the tab of “Examination”.

Now you will get new page and find the tab link of “Final Results” and click on it.

Again you will get next page and select your exam “SCRA Examination” and click on it.

Finally you will get your exam in PDF format.

Application Deadlines:

SCRA 2015 Exam Date: 18th January 2015
Last date for receipt of application Online: 07th November 2014
Date of Notification : 11th October 2014

Special Class Railway Apprentice (SCRA) Examination is entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC. Candidates who clear exam will be eligible to get admission in undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering at Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Jamalpur.

SCRA Exam has been successfully held on: 18th January, 2015
SCRA Exam Result will declare in the month of March 2015


Steps to check SCRA Exam Result through online mode:

1. Go to official website of UPSC (Union Public Service Commission):



2. Click on UPSC SCRA 2015 Result link form the right side of the webpage.


3. Enter your registration number, date of birth in given fields and click on “Submit” button.


4. Your Result will be on your screen.


5. Download it and take print out of it for further use.
