Hey!! Educational Qualification required for applying for Assistant Director of Airworthiness of Directorate General of Civil Aviation Department of UPSC are: (i) Bachelor’s Degree with Physics or Mathematics as one of the main subjects from a recognized university or equivalent (ii) 07 (Seven) years’ experience in the field of aircraft maintenance engineering. OR B-(i) Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Aeronautical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) 05 (Five) Years’ experience in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or in the field of aircraft or engine or aircraft equipment manufacture. Age Limit: -Not exceeding 40 years as on normal closing date. -Not exceeding 45 years for Scheduled Castes candidates and Scheduled Tribes candidates and -not exceeding 43 years for Other Backward Classes candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Desirable Qualificaiton (s) Practical experience on multiengine Aircraft or power plant or equipment installed on such aircraft Duty(ies) 1. To assist Director/Deputy Director of Airworthiness in day to day work. 2. Inspection of aircraft/engines/accessories for issue/renewal of Certificates of Registration, Certificate of Airworthiness etc. 3. Investigation of aircraft accidents/incidents, mechanical delays and forced landings. 4. Surveillance/approval of organizations engaged in manufactures/maintenance/training etc. 5. Conduct of examinations and issue / renewal of personnel licences. Pay Scale PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/- |
