UPCPMT CSJM Kanpur
I think the UPCPMT Exam is conducted by CSJM University Kanpur. Does this University publish official notice for this Entrance Examination? What is the minimum educational qualification required to appear in this Entrance Examination? Give me information about total seats available in CSJM University Kanpur for students who passed in the UPCPMT Exam 2015.

UPCPMT (Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test) was conducted by CSJM (Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University) Kanpur, but now it has been replaced with NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Under Graduate) which is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). Counselling will be organized by the Directorate Medical Education & Training, UP on the bases of NEET UG score. NEET 2020 Exam Dates (Announced) NEET 2020 Application Form Release Date December 2, 2019 Starting Date for NEET 2020 Application Submission February 3, 2020 Last Date for NEET 2020 Application Submission February 9, 2020 NEET Admit Card 2020 will be issued on Post April 15, 2020 (Delayed) NEET 2020 Exam Date Last Week of May (Tentatively) NEET 2020 Result Announcement June 4, 2020 NEET Eligibility Criteria 2020 Nationality: Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) Foreign Nationals Age Limit: The minimum age of one as on December 31, 2020, should be 17 years The rule specifying the maximum age limit of one was challenged in the court of law. Thus, there is no upper age limit as of now and one older than 25 years of age applying for NEET 2020 will be provisionally admitted subject to the ruling of the High Court of Delhi. Minimum qualification: One must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized institute One who is appearing for Class 12 or equivalent in summer 2020 can also apply for NEET 2020. One who has completed Class 12 or equivalent from an open school is also eligible Mandatory subjects: One must have cleared Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. One who has passed Class 12 or equivalent with Biology as an additional subject is also eligible Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination: General category: 50% PWD category: 45% SC/ST/OBC: 40% NEET 2020 Exam Pattern The exam is conducted in offline mode for duration of 3 hours. One is given a question paper, and has to mark the responses in the provided OMR sheet. NEET 2020 will be held in pen and paper mode. Exam Pattern details for the exam are tabulated below: Subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology and Botany) Type of Questions Multiple Choice Questions Number of Questions Physics – 45 Chemistry – 45 Biology – 90 (Zoology – 45 and Botany- 45) Total -180 Total Marks 720 marks Duration 3 hours NEET 2020 Marking Scheme Every question in the paper carries 4 marks. One will be rewarded 4 marks for every correct response. 1 mark will be deducted from the total score for every incorrect response. There is no negative marking for un-attempted questions. |
