Maharashtra State Eligibility Test acronym as MSET is conducted by University of Pune for selection to the post of lecturers.

Tentative dates

Opening date for online registration:
Mid of Dec 2014

Closing date for online registration:
Last week of Dec 2014

Closing date for submitting hardcopy of Online application:
Start of Jan 2015

Date for dispatch of Admit Cards (tentative):
Mid Feb 2015

Date of Maharashtra SET:
Mid Feb 2015

Qualification
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PH/ VH) (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR PG Diploma from an institute recognised by UGC

Final year candidates can also apply

Selection procedure
The Test will consist of three papers.
All the three papers will be held in two separate sessions:

Hey as SET Stands for State Eligiblity Test and this examination was Conducted by University Of Pune

as per my idea at present SET exam date is not declared

Qualification required

Candidate should have the Master's Degree from an institution recognized by U.G.C.


SC/ST candidates who have secured minimum 55% marks in Master's Degree or equivalent examination, are eligible for this test.

Age limit

There is no age limit to appear in the test.

Exam pattern

The examination duration is 2.30 hours

It contains objective type question.

Each question has the four option as per answer have the paper is conducted in two session for five question papers.

Morning session set papers are for law, Engineering, Health Sciences and afternoon session for general and design for five question paper.

There is no negative marking system for wrong answer.
