UP PSC Lower Subordinate Main Exam Dates
Hi I have cleared the UP PSC Pre 2009 Subordinate Lower Exam whose result has been declared on 30th Oct 2012 , Kindly help me with the Main exam dates and Syllabus Even I am looking for details on the Post available for the same it would be great. I have selected Botany as other subject. Regards, abhay |

Uttar pradesh public service commission, every year holds a state level written exam for various posts of Lower Subordinate service. Total no of Tentative vacancies : Approximately 1200 posts Tentative Dates : Official notification of Lower Subordinate will published 1 week of of august 2015 Last date of depositing application form fee in bank - mid of September 2015 Written exam date pre of lower pcs 2015 - November 2015 Eligibility Criteria : Education qualification : Graduation degree. Few posts required some special qualification which is • CDPO – Graduation Degree in social work / sociology or Home science • Legal Assistant and Assistant Estate superintended AES – Graduation in law, • Junior Auditor , Auditor Local Fund Account - Graduation degree in commerce • Assistant controller legal measurement - Graduation in science with Physics or mechanical engineering • Computer/Junior Statistical Inspector Field Investigator: Graduation Degree in Math /Statistics/ Statistical Math • Investigator cum computer cooperative societies - Graduation with math and Statistics • Junior Research Assistant Horticulture Inspector: BSc Ag or BSc Bio • Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector Sugarcane Development Inspector SSDI / SDI : Graduate in Agriculture • Investigator cum Computer Family Welfare: PG in Math or Statistics • Cooperative Inspector Assistant. Development Officer ADO Cooperative: Graduate in Art Economics or Commerce BSc Ag • Auditor (Local Bodies), Assistant. Auditor (Local Bodies) : B.com or ICA • Auditor (Firm's society & Chits) : Degree in commerce + 'O' Level Certificate • Fisheries Inspector : degree in Fisheries Science / Zoology, Botany and Chemistry Age Limit for Lower PCS : minimum 21 year and maximum 40 year as on 1 July 2015 Selection procedure: Selection will be done through the three stage selection process. Stage 1 Preliminary examination – Pre exam will be held for screening purpose. All question of lower Pcs pre exam will be objective. There will be only one question paper of general study in paper. Total 2 hours Time Duration will be given for attempting the question paper. All questions will be MCQ based. As per me Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission's (UPPSC) has not published Lower Subordinate Main Exam Dates notice , when it will publish I will tell you . UP PSC Lower Subordinate Main Exam syllabus Time duration 2 hrs(from 09:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) Maximum marks 200 No. of question - 120 UPPSC Lower PCS Syllabus for main examination question paper (Paper- 2) There will be two parts in this section General (Samanya Hindi)Hindi language 100 maximum marks Essay writing in Hindi language 100 mark Time duration 3 hours(02:00 p.m. to 05 p.m.) General Studies and Awareness : Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research. Quantitative Ability : The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals ,fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. Ratio & Proportion, Square roots English Language & Compression : Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidates understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting mis-spelt words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, cloze passage & comprehension passage. General Intelligence & Reasoning : It would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning etc. Quantitative Aptitude : The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be computation of whole numbers, decimals ,fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage. Ratio & Proportion, Square roots, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and distance, Time & Work etc. |
