The Department of Psychology, Savitribai Phule Pune University, was established in May 1950,

The Department has a strong tradition in research and teaching.

The Department was renamed as the Department of Psychology in the early eighties.

Facilities :

Laboratory & Research Facilities

The Department has Three Laboratories

Laboratory for Experimental Psychology-

It has approximately 1000 instruments and apparata, which are being used for teaching and research.

Laboratory for Psychological Testing-

It has over 900 Foreign and Indian tests available.

Computer Laboratory-

The Department is planning to enhance its existing computer laboratory for the use of computers for experiments and psychological testing in near future.

At present the department has 14 computers.

Department Timings :

The University Office has Holidays on the 1st and the 3rd Saturday of every month.

The Office Hours are 10:30 to 18:00.
