The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies is an Indian University located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand known traditionally for its education and research in fields of energy & power.

Founded:

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand.
