Master of Science in Engineering Science

The MSES program is designed to strengthen students' technical, analytical, and professional breadth and depth. All students receiving an MSES degree will complete a set of core courses that covers the broader subjects of research and analysis.

Program Learning Objectives:

Employ problem-solving, design, and research skills necessary to operate in the interdisciplinary arena of engineering and computer science
Demonstrate expertise in at least one of the engineering science concentrations represented in the MSES program
Engage in intellectual inquiry and address new challenges in engineering and computer science

Concentrations offered:

Civil Engineering (Environmental and Structural)
Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
Mechanical Engineering
Engineering Management

Traditional Program
Students are allowed admission to the MSES program after completing their bachelor's degree. Traditional MSES students may qualify for a graduate assistantship, which provides tuition and a living stipend.

Blended Program
The accelerated five-year MSES blended program may also be pursued while concurrently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in engineering or computer science program at Pacific.
