University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET) was established by Kurukshetra University in 2004 and offer quality technical education and to undertake research in Engineering & Technology.

Admissions

B. TECH COURSE :

Eligibility:

You should be a pass in 10+2 examination from recognized board/university with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:

(a) Chemistry
(b) Bio-Technology
(c) Computer Science
(d) Biology

Have passed diploma course in engineering / technology of three years duration or more from State Board Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent Diploma examination

B. TECH. LEET COURSE :

Eligibility:

Pass in 3 year or more diploma course in Engineering/ Technology with at least 45% marks in aggregate of all semesters.

Diploma of 2 year after 10+2 with at least 45% marks in aggregate of all semesters.

Pass in 3 year or more B. Sc. Degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate with Maths as a subject.

M. TECH. COURSE :

The admissions to M.Tech. Program are done through "GATE SCORE" as well as through “Institute Level Entrance Test”, conducted annually.

The two year full time M.Tech program are available in following specializations.

1. Software Engg.
2. Electronics & Communication Egg.
3. Bio- Technology
4. Computer Engg.
5. Mechanical Engg. (Industrial & Production Engg.)
6. Mechanical Engg. (Thermal Engg.)
7. Electrical Engg.
8. Material Sci. & Tech.

PG Scholarship/Assistantship of Rs8000.00 (amendable time to time by AICTE) per month is available to all GATE qualified admitted students in all the above discipline except Material Sci. & Tech.

Few merit fellowship/assistantship is also available to Non-GATE students @ RS 6000.00 per month from TEQIP-II project for project duration subject to availability of funds.
