Re: University of California Admissions Index

Admission Index is criteria to judge the applicants eligibility through ACR and SAT score.
University of California converts your ACT and SAT scores to UC Scores which will match to GPA. if your UC score is equal or greater than required GPA, then you're in the top 9 percent of California high school graduates.

Calculate your grade point average (GPA)

Turn your grades earned into all college-preparatory courses ("a-g" courses) taken in 0th and th grades, including summer sessions: A=4, B=, C=, D=. (Pluses and minuses don't count.)
Give yourself an added point for each honors-level course, up to eight semesters. Honors courses are Advanced Placement courses.

Convert your test scores to a UC Score total

Use your highest ACT composite and Combined English/Writing scores from a single sitting.
