Re: Union Bank Of India Deposit Slip

UBI (Union Bank of India) has deployed cash deposit machines having cash deposit facility and various other features. It has following variants of the cash deposit machines:

Bunch Note Acceptor (BNA)

Bunch Note Acceptors (BNAs) accept the currency notes, verify and instantly credits the amount in the customer account.

BNA has also been allowed as interoperable cash deposit machines, whereby, NFS member other bank cardholders can also deposit cash to the credit of their own account or third party accounts through our BNA machines.

BNAs accept maximum 200 currency notes of Rs. 100, 500 and 2000 denominations per transaction and maximum value of Rs. 49999/-.

With PAN card validation additional amount up to Rs. 100000/- can be deposited per transaction. BNA holds any forged currency and such notes are not returned to the depositor.

Single Note Acceptor (SNA)

Single Note Acceptor (SNA) deposits cash by pulling one note at a time inside the machine and verify the genuineness. It displays the option for depositing more notes, if one wishes to put a second lot of notes then again the SNA accepts the note and verify the genuineness. Finally, the SNA displays denomination wise cash deposit summary at the end.

SNAs accept 30 notes of Rs. 100, 500 and 2000 denominations per transaction and maximum value of Rs. 49999/-. On PAN card validation additional amount up to Rs. 100000/- can be deposited per transaction.

SNA seizes any counterfeit currency and such notes are not returned to the depositor. Debit card is not required to initiate transaction in SNA and interoperable cash deposit is also not available.

Cash Recycler Machine (CRM)

CRM (Cash Recycler Machine) is capable of accepting and dispensing multiple notes simultaneously. It accepts maximum 200 currency notes of Rs. 50,100, 500 and 2000 denominations per transaction and maximum value of Rs. 49999/-.

On PAN card validation additional amount up to Rs.100000/- can be deposited per transaction. CRM impounds any counterfeit currency and such notes are not returned to the depositor. Cash deposit and withdrawal is allowed to NFS member bank cardholders by CRM. Its cash withdrawal feature is similar to ATM in CRMs.
