Below the eligibility conditions to appear in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test conducted by University of Mysore are given. Eligibility Applicants must have obtained at least 55% marks for general category and 50% for SC, Scheduled ST, Persons With Disability (PWD-VH/PH) in subjects like Science, Humanities Social science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic science etc Applicants appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree examination are eligible . Candidates shall appear for KSET examination in their relevant subject of their post-graduation only . There is no upper age limit for applying for Lectureship Scheme of examination First I Number of Question ---60 out of which 50 questions to be attempted Duration --1 ¼ Hours Second II Number of Question --- 50 questions all are compulsory Duration --1 ¼ Hours III Number of Question ---75 questions all are compulsory Duration --2 ½ Hours Paper-I : General Paper is on Teaching and Aptitude: This Paper designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. . Paper-II : Subject Paper: This Paper shall consist of questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Paper-III : Subject paper (in depth questions): This Paper will consist of 75 MCQ compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidates. Each question will carry two marks and maximum marks will be 150.
