Re: UGC Net journal number
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the National Eligibility Test NET exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission for determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship posts. NET exam application process To apply for the NET examination, you will have to first register with the website of UGC with the help of a username and password. Once the registration is complete, you will be able to see a bank challan Performa from the website. Then you will have to download this bank challan Performa and visit any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) in the country. In bank, you will have to pay the admission fee along with the bank charges and also produce the bank challan Performa. The bank charges or commission is Rs 20. On payment of fees, the SBI branch will give the candidates a bank challan. The bank will fill up the SBI branch name, branch code, journal number and deposit date on the bank challan. The challan is basically a copy of the fee receipt and you cannot apply for UGC NET exam online, without this bank receipt. The bank challan will have to be filled in by the candidates. You will require to mention your name, father’s name, address, the category the candidate belongs to (General, OBC, SC, ST, PH, and VH) and the required fees. The NET Centre code and Subject code will also have to be filled in. |
