UGC NET is a national level eligibility test for the post of Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Application Procedure
Following are the steps for submission of UGC NET online application form

Candidate wishing to appear for this test must apply online on website

Keep a scanned copy of your passport sized photo ready (the photograph should be in jpeg format and should be less than 300 KB
in size).

Fill in details in the online application form and upload photograph.

Once you finish filling the application form the system will generate your bank challan.

Make payment of application fee through challan at any of the branch of State Bank of India.

After payment of fee check the status of fee payment on UGC website.

If the status indicates 'OK' then take a single printout of the admission card, application form and attendance slip on A-4 sized
paper.

Date of close of deposit of fee - 22.08.2014
Date of close of On-line submission of Application - 23.08.2014
Last date of receipt of duly completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit - 29.08.2014
Last date of receipt of duly completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit from remote areas - 04.09.2014
• Last Date for receipt of written request for change of Examination Centre only on merit basis: September 24, 2014
• Issue of e-Admission Certificate to registered candidates: Mid December, 2014.
• Date of Single MCQ Examination: December 21, 2014 (Sunday).

Ok, you want to apply for UGC NET Exam so you have to apply online through the official website of UGC NET.

How to apply-

Before applying Online you must possess the Scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb.

After filling all the necessary details for applying online for NET, the computer will generate your ‘Bank Challan’

Take print out of this Bank Challan may be taken by the candidate for payment through cash, on the next working day at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) along with Bank charges (commission) of Rs.40/-

Two days after the payment of fee at SBI through filled Bank Challan, the candidate is required to check the status of fee payment at UGC website and if the status is ‘OK’ the candidate will be able to take the printout of online Application Form (one copy), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers.


The Application along with Bank Challan (in original) and other required documents (as mentioned in item No. 13) must reach the Registrar/Principal of the Coordinating Institution.

Important dates-

CBSE NET Application form available from 15th October 2014
Last Date to Apply for CBSE NET exam December 2014 15th November 2014.
CBSE NET Exam Date 28th December 2014
