I want to do job in Government sector and came to know about the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Upper Division Clerk (UDC) Recruitment. Can you please provide me basic details along with eligibility and qualification to apply for UDC SSC Recruitment also tell dates to apply?

The Staff Selection Commission has released again the recruitment advertisement/Notification for the post of the Upper Division Clerk.

Age limit:

The Age of applicant should not more than the 50 years and
Age relaxation will be given to reserve Contenders.
The age relaxation applicable for SC/ ST :- 5 years for,
8 years for Defence Service Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities, Three years (eight years for SC/ST) for Border security Force personnel disabled in operation during Indo-Pakistan hostilities.

Selection Process::- based on the performance in the Competitive Examination.

Exam pattern:

SSC Clerk Exam is conducted in two paper.
Paper 1 is Objective Type.
Paper 2 is Descriptive Type.
It is conducted for 300 marks.
Duration of the Paper 1 is 2 hours 40 minutes.
Duration of the Paper 2 is 2 hours 40 minutes.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in computer based examination in Paper-1.
