The University of Connecticut (UConn) is a public research university in the U.S. state of Connecticut. UConn was established in 1881. UConn is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. MBA Admission and Application Requirements- UConn MBA Admission Requirements The UConn Full-time MBA Program seeks highly-motivated students with clear future career goals, outstanding academic performance, strong test scores, a positive attitude, and strong values. The following are their basic requirements for admission: Minimum of two years of professional, full-time work experience They accept both the GMAT and GRE exams with the GMAT being preferred. GMAT scores typically range from the high-500’s to over 700. Individual quantitative and verbal GRE scores are typically above 156. Baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university. They do not consider 3 year bachelor’s degrees from India, Canada, or Australia to be equivalent to a US bachelor’s degree. However, additional graduate level course work after earning a 3 year bachelor’s degree may be considered for equivalency. Minimum cumulative GPA (grade point average) of 3.0 on an applicant’s four-year Bachelor’s degree or the final two-year GPA is expected. Application Requirements- Completed Admissions Application. Official results of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Code CV2-C0-37) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE Code 3915).
