NIMCET 2015 is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test. NIMCET is a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme.

The total number of students who were participate in NIMCET are not available, so here I am giving NIMCET seat matrix according to NITs location:

As you want here I am telling every year, more than 25,000 Students apply for NIMCET, out of which 4800 are shortlisted for the counselling session. This year, 805 seats are being offered in MCA programs across the 11 NITs (National Institutes of Technology) in the country.

Key dates
Releasing of notification 27th February 2019
Starting of online application 2nd March 2019
Last date of online application 7th April 2019 (Extended)
Admit Card Release on or after 13th May 2019
Examination Date 26th May 2019
Answer Key released 27th May 2019
Declaration of result 7th June 2019
Starting of counselling 21st-22nd June 2019

Application Fee:
The non-refundable application fee is Rs. 2,200/- for Open/OBC and Rs. 1100/- for SC/ST.
The application fee can be deposit by using credit card, debit card and internet banking.

Eligibility Criteria
Must have the B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons)/BCA/BIT/B.Voc degree of 3 years with mathematics/statistics subject.
B.E /B.Tech degree holders from a recognized university can also apply.
Minimum Marks: Students should obtain a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST).

NIMCET Exam Pattern
Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode (OMR).
Duration: The exam will be of about 2 hours.
Number of Questions: Total of 120 questions will be asked in the exam.
Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
Language: The language of the paper will be English.
Answer Mode: Candidates should bring own black or blue ink ball point pen for filling bubbles and particulars on the OMR Sheet.
Marking Scheme: Each correctly answered question will carry 4 marks.
Negative Marking: Each wrongly answered question will lead to -1 mark.
