Re: Top 10 Engineering Careers
Engineering is a vast and dynamic field that offers infinite specialization. All fields in the modern economy have been invigorated by engineering technology. With the rapid advancement of technology many new fields are gaining prominence and new branches are developing such as Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Nanotechnology, Molecular engineering, Mechatronics etc. The new branches sometimes combine with the traditional fields and form new branches such as Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. These new branches are more specialized sub disciplines, each with a more specific emphasis on certain fields of application and particular areas of technology. Emergence of departments and programs for new branches in major universities is an indicator of new branches of engineering. Most of fields overlap considerably, especially in the areas of the application of sciences to their disciplines such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. Some of the various trade options available to budding engineers are:- 1. Aerospace Engineer 2. Agricultural Engineer 3. Automobile Engineer 4. Biomedical Engineer 5. Chemical Engineer 6. Civil Engineer 7. Computer Hardware Engineer 8. Electrical Engineer 9. Electronics Engineer 10. Environmental Engineer 11. Industrial Engineer 12. Industrial Engineer 13. Marine Engineer 14. Materials Engineer 15. Mechanical Engineer 16. Mining and Geological Engineer 17. Nuclear Engineer 18. Petroleum Engineer 19. Production Engineer 20. Software Engineer.
