Tony Magee was named Aerojet Rocketdyne’s STEM education outreach director for all Aerojet Rocketdyne sites in October 2013.

Tony joined Aerojet Rocketdyne in August 1996 and has served as Project Lead, for Aerojet Rocketdyne University, and Lead Engineer, in Materials & Processes Engineering supporting the Space Shuttle Main Engine.


Tony is the celebrated author of Can’t Shove a Great Life into a Small Dream, a top-selling personal development book endorsed by the creators of Chicken Soup for the Soul Series.

Education

Tony earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from Cal State Northridge and was the first African-American to earn a Master Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.

He then received an MBA from Pepperdine University and was a scholar in Executive MBA Studies at Oxford University in England.

He is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Sigma Xi The Scientific Research Society and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, incorporated.

Career Path
