Hii sir, I wants to give the TNPSC VAO Examination will you please provide me the Age limitation for the BC Reserve Category Candidates for the VAO Examination ?

VAO Exam for Village Administrative Officer Exam.conducted by Tamilnadu govt. (TNPSC) for Tamilnadu Villagers.


The Age limit for the BC Reserve Category Candidates for the VAO Examination is 40 years

the Age Limitation for the Reserved Category Candidates for the VAO Examination is as follow

Category Relaxation
SC/ST/ST(A) 40 Years
BC/MBC/BC(M)/DNC 40 Years
Others 30 Years
Destitute Widow of all Categories 40 Years

Qualification Required for the VAO Examination :

Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.

Examination Pattern :

TNPSC VAO exam will consist of a single paper with the following subjects of SSC standard

General studies - (75 items)

Basics of Village Administration (25 items)
+
Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (20 items)
+
General Tamil / General English (80 items)

Total - (200 items)

Duration of Examination:- 3 Hours

Maximum Marks:- 300

Minimum Qualifying Marks for selection:- 90

General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology Current events: History, Political science, Geography, Economics, latest inventions in science and technology Geography History and Culture of India and Tamil Nadu Indian Polity Indian Economy Indian National Movement Aptitude and mental ability tests
