The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is Published Assistant Section Officer (Translation) Notification.

Please find the below details of TNPSC Asst Section Officer:

Age Limit - SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC,BC, BCM and DW Minimum Age 18 Years And Others i.e Candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BC and BCM of all Castes Minimum Age 18 Years Maximum Age Below 30 Years.

Qualification:

A Degree of any University recognized by the University Grants Commission in any one of the parts in the Degree course.

Selection Process –

Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e.,
(i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test.

Pattern of Exam:

Preliminary examination

Questions will be objective type
Total questions: 200
Maximum marks: 300
Duration: 3 hours
Minimum qualifying mark: 90
Questions will be from General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test, General English/ Tamil.

Mains examination

This is descriptive test
Questions will be asked from general studies
Maximum marks: 300
Exam duration: 3 Hours
Minimum qualifying mark: 102
Interview and record marks: 40
