Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) is an agricultural university located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1971.

TNAU Admission for Industry Sponsorship & Non Resident Indian (NRIs)

Five Seats each in the undergraduate programs are allotted for the Industry sposorship and Non-Resident Indian quota on merit basis.

A separate Application form for this quota along with DD for Rs.100/- should be enclosed with the Main Application.

Non Resident Indian (NRI) Quota-

The candidate can be a Non Resident Indian or Close relative of the Non Resident Indian (NRI).

The candidates should have minimum educational qualification prescribed for the course.

Eligibility: Upper age limit : 21 years

Semester Fee: US Dollar($) 2100/Semester

Documents required at the time of admission under NRI quota

A letter sponsoring the candidate for admission to UG program indicating the degree applied.

Attested copy of Passport with Visa details of the sponsor

Proof for NRI (to be obtained from Indian Embassy of the respective country) or copy of the Overseas Citizen of India card of the sponsor.

Proof of Relationship to the Candidate

Candidates will be admitted based on merit from among those who applied under Industry Sponsor / NRI quota.

Dear sir, Please let me know if a student studied abroad till 10th and is currently studying 12th from Tamil Nadu. Could he sit in engineering entrance exam under general quota or in NRI quota?
